My husband and I were looking for a vacation home in the Hill City area. We were referred to Jim Peterson and June Johnson by our son who purchased a vacation home from Jim a few years ago. Our son was very satisfied with his purchase experience dealing with Integrity Realty. Jim and June took the time to meet with us on several occasions to fully understand what we were looking for in a vacation home. Jim and June then showed us several houses and when we found one that met our needs they were very attentive and made our purchase experience flow smoothly. After the purchase, they have followed up on several occasions to make sure everything was going well and offered some great suggestions on local tradesmen to help us on the re-model of the cabin. Jim Peterson did an amazing job helping me find property in the Black Hills. I gave him my wish list (which was not short and simple!) all that I wanted in a horse property and he quickly helped me find the perfect property. He didn't waste my time or make the process frustrating by showing me properties that didn't meet my criteria. Unfortunately, my "dream property" required joining two parcels from different subdivisions and with different zoning. To accomplish this, Jim had to negotiate with two different sellers and attend, over several months, numerous planning and zoning commission meetings to get all necessary approvals from county commissioners. But Jim was dedicated and tenacious and I now have my horse property. It truly is my dream come true and I know it couldn't have happened without an agent like Jim!

Jim Peterson is personable and a good listener. When he met with us, he listened to our goals and assessed our real estate situation to help us achieve them. 

Jim does his homework. He used up-to-date computer software to find the potential and realistic sales value of our property. He clearly explained his assessment methods. 

One of Jim's strengths is marketing. He is forward thinking, involved in promoting his city's business community and maintains excellent client contact. He is innovative in not only marketing client properties but in promoting his real estate business. It is difficult to miss his office on the main street in Hill City.

We think Jim Peterson is the best realtor in the black Hills. We have used several realtors in the Hills over the last five years and we have a home in the Hills that we bought thru Jim. He is very knowledgeable about construction and can point out things to look for. He is very patience with his customers and always has a smile on his face. He knows the Hills from Hot Springs to Deadwood. He was very easy to work with and always got back to us very soon with answers to our questions. He walked us thru the closing process and made sure every detail was taken care of. He will be our only realtor in the Black Hills. His co-worker (June Johnson) is very capable and has the same good qualities as Jim. She has worked with us too and she is very reliable.

Recently I decided to sell some non-conventional property in Jim’s area. I had no prior knowledge of any realtors in that area. I picked Jim because his company was small and after talking to him on the phone I knew I made a very good choice. We had an offer shortly but because it was no-conventional, there were some finance problems. Their realtor didn’t seem interested in helping Jim stepped in and found the financing they needed. Truly he went above and beyond what was expected and he kept me well informed every step of the way. I NOT ONLY FOUND A VERY GOOD REALTOR. I FOUND A LIFE LONG FRIEND.

We came to the Hill City area to buy property to build our retirement home on. We spent 2 days with Jim Peterson looking at multiple parcels in the Black Hills. Jim could not have been more accommodating. On the third day, we made an offer and Jim was able to negotiate a price that I feel was fair to all parties. Jim took the time to research the answers to all of our questions which included multiple trips to the County offices in Rapid City. With Jim's help, we were able to close within 2 weeks from the date of the original offer. This was all complicated by the fact we live 1700 miles away on the east coast. I don't think Jim could have done more for us.
